There’s a new park in downtown Cary! This beautiful new park is located on the corner of Kildaire Farm Road and Academy Street, near the Cary Arts Center. As you enter the park, there’s a beautiful waterfall and a green area for play. Nearby is a coffee or snack shop called Market 317, where you can sit and enjoy your coffee and snacks in the front part of the park.

Did you know that cardinals are the state bird? There is a big cardinal play area where you can bring your kids and enjoy time with the family. When we come here on weekends, you can feel the sense of community, which my husband and I enjoy. Children play different kinds of games, people are having picnics, and everyone is just having fun and smiling. They also feature musicians and sometimes have a show in the grandstand, surrounded by the beauty of the park.

Dog and beer lovers will also have fun in Bark Park, where you can chill and have a cold beer while watching your fur babies have fun. You can bring your dogs to the park, which is open on weekends. To enter, you need to have your dog registered here. There are two different areas for small and large dog breeds, with lots of balls, water, and snacks. Your dogs can have fun jumping on and off the boulders and playing with each other while sitting and drinking their beer or prosecco and just enjoying nature.

One of our favorite places is the skywalk, which is surrounded by big old oaks. It makes you feel like you’re walking through a treehouse. It’s an awesome space, and you can see that the town of Cary really took a lot of time and planning to incorporate natural elements like water and beautiful greenery all around the park.

Whether you live locally or are thinking about moving to North Carolina, this park is a must-see. It’s such a beautiful space filled with art and community. You can DM or call me at (919) 830-9051, or send me an email at cynthia@cqrealtygroup.com ** ** if you want more information.
