Paint is one of the simplest decisions you’ll make before putting your home on the market, and it carries far more weight than most sellers expect. So, do paint colors matter? Absolutely.

Dark walls work against you. Buyers don’t respond well to dark colors. When they walk into a home painted in deep tones, they start tosee projects the moment they step through the door.

A crisp neutral lets a home shine. We recently painted a great room in a neutral alabaster white, and the change was striking. The space now feels crisp and modern, and it truly shows off the architecture.

Gray has had its moment. We follow the trends closely, and our advice is simple: don’t paint with gray.Gray is gone. Some tans, on the other hand, are starting to make a comeback.
